Pinoy Chicken Adobo

Pinoy Chicken Adobo

Marinating Time: 1hr. – overnight (refrigerate)

Cooking time: 1hour

INGREDIENTS:

1 Kilo chicken 

1 cup DATU PUTI soy sauce

½ cup DATU PUTI vinegar

5 cloves garlic (crushed)

-half for marinate

-half for sautéing

2 pcs. Onion, thinly sliced

1-2 tsp. MAMA SITA’S ADOBO MIX

1 tsp. whole peppercorns

2-3 pcs. Dried bay leaf (Laurel)

1 tbsp. oil

 

ADOBO MARINADE:

Combine the following:

1 kilo chicken

1 cup DATU PUTI soy sauce

½ cup DATU PUTI vinegar

Half of the crushed garlic

1-2 tsp. MAMA SITA’S ADOBO MIX

HOW TO COOK:

§ Heat the skillet over medium heat and add oil.

§ Add the other half of the garlic, sauté it until lightly brown in color, then add the sliced onion, cook it until translucent. Add the desired meat. Cook until tender.

§ Add in the marinade, put in also the bay leaf and peppercorns.

§ Simmer for about 10-15mins. in low heat.

§ Serve with steamed rice.

 NOTE:

You can choose the brand you prefer for the soya sauce and vinegar, on our selections.
