Ginisang Munggo

Ginisang Munggo

Cooking time: 1 hour

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp oil

2 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 thumb size ginger, crushed

1 tomato, sliced

200g. pork (cut into strips, thinly)

1 cup Golden Chef Mung Beans

1cup / 250ml. water (you can add more if you prefer)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 bunch spinach

HOW TO COOK:

§ Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add oil.

§ Sauté the garlic, ginger, onion, one at a time, until they reached their sautéing period. Then goes in the tomatoes, let it cook too. Then add the pork strips and fish sauce. Sauté all, for few minutes.

§ Add the water and the munggo beans. Let it boil on a low heat until munggo beans are cooked nicely. Then add the spinach, one more boil and it's ready to serve. You can add additional toppings if you please, like chicharon baby or dilis. 

§ Serve with steamed rice.
